Q: “How soon can it be done? Can it really be within an hour, or the same day?”
A: The answer is yes, it can be done that very same day, most of the time.
A man came into our office with a bridge in his and, for example, thinking a couple of weeks is what it might take. However, he left later that day with a full set of permanent teeth that are his. He never has to take them out!
Q: “Is it still possible if you have bad gums…gum disease?”
A: It absolutely is, like a re-do – a do-over – when a person has bad gums. We get the gums back to a healthy state, once again, by starting over. Then, we can put in the implants when they have healthy bones again, as a foundation – and now we can maintain them, because they are just like real teeth!
Q. “In getting dental implants, is there any kind of age limit?”
It is really YOUR health, so – No. You are probably healthy enough to get dental implants, if you are healthy enough to walk into my office.
Q: “Should I be scared about pain…both during the procedure and
afterwards?”
A: No, not at all. Nobody wants pain…I don’t either! So we don’t want you to have any. In fact, we have sedation for the procedure itself. It is like waking up with a whole new smile, after taking a quick nap, basically.
About 90% of the people I see, post-op, are shocked when they come in the next day – there is no bruising, they are not having pain, and they aren’t swollen! Depending on who they are, the there 10% might have a tougher time, but 90% of my patients don’t have any problems.
Q: “Can I really eat anything I want to?”
A: You absolutely can…they are just like real teeth. Some of my patients have literally been in tears, because they are so appreciative. You can eat beef jerky, apples, or anything you want!
Q: “Do you have to go from one doctor, to another, then another to get the whole thing done?”
A: You certainly do not…I’m trained in all the specialties, so you will only be seeing me. You can be absolutely assured that I have much practical experience in getting you the kind of results you want, because I have been practicing Dental Implant Dentistry from the very beginning.
Q: “Are you sure you can do this right away?”
A: I hear this question quite frequently. Clients are skeptical, surprised & shocked that we could actually do this. We CAN take care of this right away. The answer is yes, you can have the smile you have always wanted…right away!
